ABOUT VANDRI

Vandri is a village nestled within the Satpura ranges in Eastern Gujarat. The village is located in Narmada district very close to the Maharashtra state border. The village of Vandri lies in the Dediapada Taluka of the Narmada District. The Narmada district was created in 1997 and is classified as one of the 250 most backward districts in India. Situated amidst natural beauty at its best, to-date it remains untouched by the ill effects of human habitation. This village consists of tribal folk belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community, having a population of little over 2000 people.
